Lumecca IPL is an applicator on the INMODE laser platform that utilizes the most powerful intense pulsed light for comprehensive photorejuvenation and effectively treats dilated facial vessels.

This technology employs a flash of light with a specific wavelength targeted at the problem area. Penetrating the skin's surface with focused light pulses, it treats the exact layer and area desired without causing visible damage. The intense pulsed light is attracted to hemoglobin and absorbed by the blood vessels, causing coagulation and shrinkage. The thermal energy stimulates the growth of healthy new cells and promotes the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin.

Dilated and broken capillaries are vascular changes on the skin, forming spider-like networks or dots that can be red or blue. They are most commonly associated with conditions such as rosacea or blackheads.
