Lumecca IPL is an applicator on the INMODE laser platform that utilizes the most powerful intense pulsed light for comprehensive photorejuvenation and effectively combats pigmentation disorders on the skin.

This technology uses a flash of light with a specific wavelength aimed at the pigmented area. By penetrating the skin's surface with focused light pulses, it precisely treats the desired layer and zone without causing visible damage. The intense pulsed light is attracted to the pigment melanin and breaks it down. The thermal energy stimulates the growth of healthy new cells and supports the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin. 

Melanin is a pigment produced in the skin that gives it its color. Excessive sun exposure, aging, hormonal problems, and certain diseases can lead to overproduction of melanin and the formation of pigmentation spots.

Lumecca IPL can be used for the following pigmentation disorders:

The procedure is completely painless and requires no prior preparation.

It is normal to experience slight redness and a warming sensation afterward, which subsides within about an hour. Over the next 24-48 hours, the treated pigments may darken slightly and begin to flake.
