Straightening teeth with aligners-transparent braces
The aligners are a series of clear, individually crafted splints that gradually move the teeth into the desired position. They are created using digital planning and 3D technology, which ensures precision and predictable results.
Nowadays, the majority of patients who undergo orthodontic treatment are adults and need an alternative treatment that allows them to align their teeth in a comfortable and discreet manner. Their advantages are that they combine aesthetics and comfort, they are removable and allow excellent hygiene, and thanks to digital planning they guarantee predictable and effective results.

Indications for treatment with tinners
-
Crowding of teeth – lack of sufficient space leading to overlapping
-
Distances between teeth – presence of empty spaces
-
Mild to moderate malocclusion – including deep bite, cross bite and back bite
-
Recurrence after orthodontic treatment – misalignment after wearing braces
-
Aesthetic corrections – slight rotations and incorrect tooth positions
Straightening teeth without braces is an increasingly preferred procedure among our patients because of the convenience and lower safety profile and side effects.
How does the treatment with aliners work?
Primary examination
After a thorough primary examination, our specialist will assess the condition of your teeth and bite and determine if aligner treatment is right for you. At this stage, expectations and options for straightening your teeth without braces are discussed and an individual approach is devised.
Digital scanning and planning
A precise digital scan of both jaws is performed, which completely replaces traditional impressions. The resulting data is sent to a specialized laboratory to create a digital treatment plan.
In certain cases, additional radiography may be required for a more accurate diagnosis. Within about 7 working days a detailed analysis shall be prepared which shall include:
-
duration of treatment
-
number of liners required
-
final price
-
visualisation of the expected result
Manufacture of individual tinners
The aligners are made individually for each patient using high-tech methods. Each aligner is designed to make a small, controlled change in tooth position.
This gradual adjustment guarantees:
-
safe tooth movement
-
high efficiency
-
predictable results
Wearing of tinners
Wearing the aligners is the key stage in achieving the desired result. For treatment to be successful, braces must be worn 20-22 hours per day, taking off only when eating and cleaning.
-
Each liner is carried 7-14 days, after which it is replaced by the next
-
Slight pressure is possible in the first days – this is normal and indicates that the treatment is working
-
Regular wearing ensures proper alignment of teeth
When guidelines are followed, treatment with aligners provides an effective, comfortable and discreet straightening of the teeth.
Maintenance and care of the tinners:
Proper maintenance of the aligners is key to successful treatment and good oral hygiene.Clean the aligners daily with soft brush and lukewarm water
-
Use special tablets for cleaning tinners
-
Wear them 20-22 hours per day for optimal results
-
Take them off when eating and consuming drinks (except water)
-
Store them in a special box when you are not wearing them
-
Avoid hot water, which can deform them
Regular care of clear splints prevents bacteria build-up, odor and staining, ensuring treatment effectiveness.
