GLYCOLIC PEELING – CONTENT AND ACTION
Glycolic acid is extracted from sugar cane and has the smallest molecular structure, which allows for easier penetration into the skin. The concentration is high enough to work successfully for dermatological purposes, unlike cosmetic peels and products that go as high as 10% acidity. Glycolic acid dissolves dead cells on the skin surface, retains moisture, providing good hydration, stimulates natural collagen synthesis and inhibits melanin formation in the skin.
Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect, removing dead cells from the surface of the skin. It fights excess oiliness and has an antiseptic effect.
Bentonite is a natural clay that has absorption properties. It is widely used in cosmetics for its properties of detoxifying, purifying and soothing the skin.
