After injection, the filter is spread evenly over the area, with results visible immediately. There is a slight lift in the area as well as an overall fresher facial appearance. Contrary to patient expectations, about 2ml of hyaluron is usually needed in this area to achieve minimal visible effect and more for more pronounced volume loss. Often the procedure is performed in two visits, with the required amount spread over them. The effect of the procedure occurs with the injection of a larger amount of hyaluron, but the result is significantly more permanent compared to corrections in other areas of the face.
