MILK PEEL FOR OILY SKIN

Milk Peel is a surface chemical peel based on glycolic, salicylic and lactic acids, specially formulated to treat fine lines, uneven complexion, superficial pigmentation, dehydrated skin, wide pores, acne and reddened acne scars. The peel restores the skin’s radiance, makes it brighter, smoother and shinier, improves mimic wrinkles, regulates oily skin and enlarged pores.

Glycolic acid is extracted from sugar cane and has the smallest molecular structure, which allows for easier penetration into the skin. The concentration is high enough to work successfully for dermatological purposes, unlike cosmetic peels and products that go as high as 10% acidity. Glycolic acid dissolves dead cells on the skin surface, retains moisture, providing good hydration, stimulates natural collagen synthesis and inhibits melanin formation in the skin.

Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect, removing dead cells from the surface of the skin. It fights excess oiliness and has an antiseptic effect.

Lactic acid belongs to the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) family, and has the ability to significantly improve the appearance of the skin and help keep it naturally hydrated. It increases cell turnover and helps eliminate accumulated dead skin cells on the epidermis. The skin becomes firmer, with a smoother texture and fewer fine lines and wrinkles. By breaking down dead cells on the surface, lactic acid promotes cell regeneration in the top layer, which over time helps reduce sun damage, pigmentation and acne scarring.

The protocol depends on the current skin condition and usually includes 2 to 4 treatments.

Recovery period: very subtle flaking of the skin is possible over the next 4 days.
